The chapel will have two drop off dates for Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes. You may bring your box to any service on 16 and 23 November You may also drop of your boxes at The Crossroad Student Center. If you do not attend chapel you may drop your box(es) off at my house (De'Etta). I will make sure it gets to the proper spot.
We have a lot of fun with this project. Last year we all went shopping and we all had creative ideas (flashlights/batteries/pumps/basketballs)....this year money is tighter. I took the younger ones to the Dollar Tree and we found a lot of fun things to pack:backpacks, stickers, purses, ballas, teddy bears, hair things, cars, socks......
We make Shoe Box night a fun Family Night. Here are a few glimpses of our assembly line.
Two footballs? How about one and some other things, Stacia?
Click here to find directions to pack a shoe box. We still plan to make a coloring page for each box. This is really more than a coloring page - it's a letter from you to the child who will receive your box.
We had a blast filling boxes. It's become an anticipated family tradition.
