"Come Thirsty" Study To Begin

Last night, as we wrapped up our "Having A Mary Spirit" study, we received our books for our second Spring Bible Study.

Join us every Tuesday evening, beginning March 23rd,  in the Chapel Conference Room at 6:30pm as we work through "Come Thirsty" by Max Lucado.

"Are you a dry sponge? Edgy and rigid? Ineffective? Would you like to be softened up some? Would you like to be more useful in the hands of the One who made you? Then come to the well, says Max Lucado.

Scientists assure us that humans can't live without water, and we don't even attempt it. But survival without God? Oh, we sip, we taste, but we're prone to go extended times without a good drink from the well of the Lord. And we pay the price for doing so. We shrink. We coil and re-coil against the world... organs harden... hearts harden.

In this renewing and life-giving book, Max Lucado, leads us to the four essential nutrients needed by every soul.

Come to the cross and know that your sins are pardoned and your death is defeated. Receive Christ's energy and believe that you can do all things through the one who gives you strength. Receive his Lordship, knowing that you belong to him and that He looks out for you. Receive his love and feel confident that nothing can separate you from it.

Come, with Max, to the well...to Christ's Work on the cross, his energy, his Lordship and his Love."

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy."
1 Peter 2:9-10(NKJV)

Secret Sister Summer

For the summer, we exchanged cards in order to pray for one another and to anonymously encourage one another.

Please lift your Secret Sister up in prayer daily. Feel free to send her cards, verses, funnies, whatever the Lord moves you to do. But remember... Keep it anonymous!

At the Fall Kick-off we will find out who are Secret Sisters are so we can thank them and follow up on those goals and prayers!

"My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing is truly part of God's grace for you. Stand firm in this grace." 1 Peter 5v12

Note from Christina on June 9~
Hello Sweet Sisters!

How is your summer going so far? Are you finding sweet notes of hope and love from your Secret Sister? Are you remembering to share hope and love with your Secret Sister? Here we are, already into June. This summer will fly by before we know it, and yet the time will have been mostly separated from our Sisters! Remember to lift her up in your prayers, and as time allows, please try to send her a token of your love in Christ for her!

God bless you, Ladies! Our Lord is moving within our group! See you all, very very soon!
