Welcome! 1

We are in the process of setting up our blog. Check back frequently to see changes.

In the next few days more devotionals, more blurbs and photos of past events, graphics for the devotional et al pages, and more announcements will be added.

For the time being, please tell us what you think? Are there things you would like to see added?

And vote to the right - which post divider do you like - a lily or the garden bench? The lily (both here and in the header) is from the International Water Lily Collection which our PWOC has visited several times. These are photos I took on our PWOC outings. Thus, it reminds us of our city and of our outings. The garden bench reminds me of the garden trysts we long for with the lover of our souls. Thus, it has PWOC meaning too.

Yes - I have more plans.....but I'd love to hear your plans as well.

GREAT job! This is the new level of ministry that I see happening at the local level and on-up. We must reach the next generation and use whatever technology is available. So glad to see yours up-and-running. Good job!

Ahhh, I LOVE this song! Love it love it love it. I normally DON'T like music on blogs, it's too distracting. But this one is perfect! PERFECT!

Renee - I don't like music on blogs either....but this is the song for PWOC international for 2008/09 - though I'm now wondering if I got the wrong song as you said she's a local gal....I found it on playlist....It's the right title and I THINK the right singer....LOL

Mel - I have a ton of ideas for PWOC reaching out more using the internet...but am staying in my lane. LOL

Officially I'm the web weaver for CR....and I floated the idea of a regional blog but there are huge issues with doing something reginoal, I guess. BUT locally - I went through the hoops and we're up. I'm the local President so am in this lane on this project. LOL If the region ever wants a blog - I'll be on it...and I think a regional blog roll or national blog roll would be a good thing too. LOL BUT I'm staying in my lane or lanes as the case may be!

2009/2010 Verse

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy."

Secret Sister Summer

For the summer, we exchanged cards in order to pray for one another and to anonymously encourage one another.

Please lift your Secret Sister up in prayer daily. Feel free to send her cards, verses, funnies, whatever the Lord moves you to do. But remember... Keep it anonymous!

At the Fall Kick-off we will find out who are Secret Sisters are so we can thank them and follow up on those goals and prayers!

"My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing is truly part of God's grace for you. Stand firm in this grace." 1 Peter 5v12

Note from Christina on June 9~
Hello Sweet Sisters!

How is your summer going so far? Are you finding sweet notes of hope and love from your Secret Sister? Are you remembering to share hope and love with your Secret Sister? Here we are, already into June. This summer will fly by before we know it, and yet the time will have been mostly separated from our Sisters! Remember to lift her up in your prayers, and as time allows, please try to send her a token of your love in Christ for her!

God bless you, Ladies! Our Lord is moving within our group! See you all, very very soon!
