Fault Line Prayer Card
~~This is completely optional and voluntary~~
At the end of the Bible Study last night, index cards were handed out with an envelope for a two part exercise in a) prayer and b) accountability. At the top of the index card it says: My fault line is~
- If you took a card, please fill in what one of your fault lines is. Feel free to be as vague or as detailed about this fault line as you want, just be sure that it is clear.
- This prayer is in direct relation to your fault line to help you focus your prayer on the lie of the fault line, which is why it is so hard to triumph over that sin, and to open your heart and mind to the Lord's Truth regarding that sin.
b) Accountability- Next Tuesday, if you choose to participate in this next part of the exercise, please put your first name in small print on the front of the envelope. We will collect the index cards in the envelopes and the redistribute them among other participants. The goal of this exercise is to pray over one another and to share each other's struggles. Many of us share the same or similiar fault lines. Others of us have already defeated those fault lines and are struggling with new ones. But we will all have fresh eyes to each other's struggles and through prayer and study may be able to shed light on those struggles that have been hidden previously.
When you receive your sister's card, please include it in your prayer time and your Bible Study time. Please remember to pray for this woman's fault line, keeping in mind that the circumstances surrounding her fault line are still between her and the Lord, and she needs your support and prayer to help her move forward. If time allows, or you feel moved to do so, under the prayer on the card, please include any Scripture that you believe reveals Truths that will help this woman with her struggle.
At the end of "Having A Mary Spirit" we will bring back all the index cards to pray over, to discuss, and to share any continuing struggles for prayer, or triumphs for praise. The cards will be collected and given to the owner. Each woman will have a chance to look at her card, read whatever notes were added, and then if willing, the chance to share with the group about their own struggle.
(The person who receives and prays and shares Scripture on the cards will remain anonymous. Any discussion on the index cards will only be by the individual on their own struggle so that no one can be inadvertantly hurt or feel as though they are being judged.)
~~This is completely optional and voluntary~~

"Having A Mary Spirit" Spring Study Begins
Today begins our Spring Bible Study.
Join us at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall as we begin "Having A Mary Spirit" by Joanna Weaver.
"We long to serve God with grace and strength, to reflect Christ in every word and action. Yet we find ourselves continually struggling to bring that vision to life in our daily walk. At the very core, every one of us is a "twisted sister" within whom the flesh and spirit battle constantly for control. We are afflicted with spiritual schizophrenia, the disconnect between our "good girl" desire to put Jesus first and our "bad girl" realities that crowd our thoughts and push him out of the way.
In "Having a Mary Spirit", Weaver, author of the bestseller "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World", directs your gaze past your own shortcomings to the God who stands ready, willing, and able to make a new woman out of you. She equips you with Biblical insights and practical tools to partner with Christ, inviting Him into the hidden places of your soul and giving Him full permission to redeem and renovate. Drawing on the stories of Biblical Marys and others whose experience with God transformed their lives, Weaver shows how you can find the hope, healing, wholeness, and joy your heart longs for. Includes a 12-week Bible study for both individual reflection and group discussion."

Women's Day Out~ Fleece Everywhere!!!!
Today, women from our PWOC met together armed with fleece, scissors, rulers, and smiles to make no-sew fleece blankets for a local shelter.
After three hours of cutting, knotting, and praying over each blanket, we are able to present to the shelter 16 blankets ranging from adult sizes to infant/toddler sizes.
These blankets will bring added warmth to the lives of men, women, and especially children who need it this Holiday season. Thank you, Ladies, for taking time out of your weekend to come together and share the warmth!

Goodfellow PWOC Goes To Regional Conference
This year, three of our ladies were able to attend the Central Region Conference held in Missouri.
The Conference offered the women from the Central Region the opportunity to come together for praise and worship, for Biblical teaching and growth, for communion with one another, and the incredible chance to be apart of the change of leadership for the next two years.
Held at the beautiful Windermere Conference Center, all who attended were given ample opportunity to get to know the women from their groups better, and to relax in God's creation for self-reflection or just for the fun of it!
The theme of 2009-2010 PWOC: Daughters of The King was reflected in the Conference Banquet (and throughout the weekend's classes and sessions) which sported the theme: Denim and Jewels. To see so many of the 300+ women in attendance with their crowns, tieras, baubles, gems, and jewels with something as common place as denim, it is easy to see the correlation between the lesson of our PWOC theme. We women are denim, and all the gifts we are given, namely that of Salvation and Grace, are the Jewels which turn our denim lives into something beautiful and spectacular!
Notes from the Conference:
PWOC International Conference was announced.
We will be returning to Dallas, Texas in November 2010.
Please click here for more details.
We installed our new Regional Board, saying a fond farewell
to our loving and devoted old leadership, and giving a warm
and delighted welcome to our new leadership.
(Names to be announced soon.)
Rumor has it, PWOC will be changing its look! How exciting!
Stay tuned to this site, for more information!!!
Our ladies came back with information about A Weekend To Remember, a marriage
conference offered by Family Life, a Campus Crusade ministry. These conferences
are offered at different dates throughout the US. Please visit this site to learn more.
Please continue to lift up in prayer those men and women from Fort Hood,
and from all the bases and units, families, friends, and communities that
were affected by the incident at Fort Hood! Let us remember God's love
and grace!

Secret Sister Summer
For the summer, we exchanged cards in order to pray for one another and to anonymously encourage one another.
Please lift your Secret Sister up in prayer daily. Feel free to send her cards, verses, funnies, whatever the Lord moves you to do. But remember... Keep it anonymous!
At the Fall Kick-off we will find out who are Secret Sisters are so we can thank them and follow up on those goals and prayers!
"My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing is truly part of God's grace for you. Stand firm in this grace." 1 Peter 5v12
Note from Christina on June 9~
Hello Sweet Sisters!
How is your summer going so far? Are you finding sweet notes of hope and love from your Secret Sister? Are you remembering to share hope and love with your Secret Sister? Here we are, already into June. This summer will fly by before we know it, and yet the time will have been mostly separated from our Sisters! Remember to lift her up in your prayers, and as time allows, please try to send her a token of your love in Christ for her!
God bless you, Ladies! Our Lord is moving within our group! See you all, very very soon!
